2013-02-27—-2016-02-27 Fêtons/ Celebrate with me!

Yes, this retirement project began three years ago today. While I was tempted to re-blog the first one, I can’t seem to access it today. Instead I will let you in on a small secret. My studio has revealed that the time for snow and ice paintings is fast fading. Maybe it is a groundhog-like revelation, but I painted some abstract flowers this week, using a usually shunned colour: pink!
Before I get reprimanded about fleeing to PEI in my thoughts and called on the carpet to be in the NOW…let me show a few blooms of yearning for my garden. It is interesting that each February I seem to paint a vase of flowers. They are always quite indistinct, as if I forget what flowers look like. Their pastel softness brings me to their delicate petals and caressing odours. Fortunate are we to have the 4 seasons to battle and enjoy and all our senses to truly dive into nature!

Désole wordpress ne vous offre qu’une partie de l’aquarelle…as always click on th title for the photo ! cropped ny WordPress.
