Have you started to prepare for cooler weather? A visit to the Cardigan Farmers’ Market is a good way to begin. Besides finding wholesome food to help increase your caloric intake in an organic manner, there are knit scarves and cloth scarves and designer neckwear.

The second half of the season has begun. As the days shorten, our stock decreases. Why not drop in this weekend while the selection is still good?

Saturday Aug 9th is another big day of festivities with children’s games and an outdoor BBQ . The fund raiser is to gather money for the repair of the roof. Indoors there will be a silent auction of at least 10 items from meat to books to original watercolours, to pressed glass windows, to beeswax candles, to biologist guided tours of Boughton Island. Add your name to the sheets. Final bid is Saturday at 1.

On se voit le 8 et 9? Will you be dropping by the 8th or 9th?
